Erwin Poell, a designer from Heidelberg, Germany designed Poell Outline, Black and Shaded in 1972 based on a strict grid system. Crack is a modern interpretation in the year 2011. The overlapping of elements is applied in a more consistent manner and thereby taken to the extremes. The design itself is modernized by making the letters more roundish. For a clearer display in small point sizes, the rounded counters are slightly expanded. Humor finds its way in type design. Available at fontseek.info

TYPE SPECIMEN, DIN A2, SERIGRAPHY, 2007 Analysis of typefaces based on the Font-Library of Optimo. Typometrical exploration regarding the possibilities to organize and classify fonts in a more profound, rather than a purely art-history, way.
